    Inside Mount

    • Order Width = Window Actual Width
      Headrail Width = Order Width - 3/8 inch
      (The factory will deduct this 3/8 inch for you during production.)
    • For example, if your window frame width is 40",then you need to select a width of 40'', when placing an order, you will receive a blind with headrail width of 39 5/8" finally.
    • Recommended window frame depth: 2 1/2 inches
    Measuring

    Outside Mount

    • A taller appearance.Outside window frame. No minimum depth requirement.
    • Please add 2 to 4 inches to the measured width of the sash to avoid light gaps.
    • For height, add 10 to 12 inches to the measurement. By following this guidance, you can achieve optimal sizing for your satisfaction.

    How to Measure Width and Length Correctly

    Bamboo shades can be inside mounted or outside mounted.

    Considering the window frame depth is the first step.

    1. Min. Inside Mount Depth Requires 2 1/2 inches
    2. Headrail Size: 1 3/8 inches H x 2 3/8 inches D
    3. Valance height:　6 inches
    4. Bracket Size: 1 3/8 inches H x 1 7/8 inches D
    5. Pointed Screw Length (for securing the bracket into the window frame): 1 3/8 inches
    6. Flat Head Screw Length (for attaching the wing nut): 1 1/3 inches
