Mounting Options:

  • Inside Mount: A clean, built-in look, 2 1/2 inches minimum depth requirement. Measure the window inside width and height. The factory will deduct 3/8 inch on the window width to ensure a proper fit inside the window frame, shade height could be the same as the window height.  You don't need to deduct by yourself.
  • Outside Mount: A taller appearance. Outside window frame. No minimum depth requirement. We recommend ordering additional width 2-4 inches to prevent light gaps on the sides of your window. 

Liners:

The lining color is not optional, and the most suitable color will be matched for you during production.
Option 1: Unlined – Offers maximum light and a clear view through the chosen fabric.
Option 2: Privacy – Provides a shading rate of 60-80%.
Option 3: Blackout – Delivers a shading rate of 100%.

Note:

  • After unboxing, you only need to install the brackets and hang up the shades, then the shades will just function normally.
  • Please do not fiddle with the lifting mechanism behind the shades, otherwise the shades will be damaged and can not function.
  • Shades are made by natural materials, which may be discolored over time.
  • It's normal that the final shades differs a little from the sample books.
  • Natural materials grow in nature into various shapes, long or short, straight or curved, so each bamboo shade has its own distinctive texture.
    It is recommended to add edge bindings, otherwise the edge materials may fall off. If this occurs, just cut it off.
  • Due to the influence of temperature, humidity, light and other factors involved in the process, there will be slight differences in color from batch to batch.
  • Wipe Clean.

Two Mount Types

Inside Mount

  • Order Width = Window Actual Width
    Headrail Width = Order Width - 3/8 inch
    (The factory will deduct this 3/8 inch for you during production.)
  • For example, if your window frame width is 40",then you need to select a width of 40'', when placing an order, you will receive a blind with headrail width of 39 5/8" finally.
  • Recommended window frame depth: 2 1/2 inches
Measuring

Outside Mount

  • A taller appearance.Outside window frame. No minimum depth requirement.
  • Please add 2 to 4 inches to the measured width of the sash to avoid light gaps.
  • For height, we recommend mounting the shade 4–6 inches above the window frame. If you want to maximize natural light and create more space when the shade is rolled up, consider mounting it 10–12 inches above.

Measure Width and Length Correctly

Bamboo shades can be inside mounted or outside mounted.
Considering the window frame depth is the first step.
① Min. Inside Mount Depth Requires 2 1/2 inches
② Headrail Size: 1 1/2 inches H x 2 3/8 inches D
③ Valance height: 6 inches
④ Bracket Size: 1 1/2 inches H x 1 7/8 inches D
⑤ Pointed Screw Length (for securing the bracket into the window frame): 1 1/8 inches
⑥ Flat Head Screw Length (for attaching the wing nut): 1 inches
